Colorado COVID-19 Guidance & Information

The following links are the latest information and guidance for Colorado specifically for “personal services” & “retail” as it relates to the spa & wellness industries.

LAST UPDATE: JANUARY 26, 2021

This guidance is clarification based on the most recent version of CDPHE’s public health order, the Fourth Amended Public Health Order 20-36 issued on January 4, 2021 and Safer at Home and in the Vast, Great Outdoors Update issued on January 25, 2021. The Amended Public Health Order and Extension of the Safer at Home Executive Order expires 30 days from their issue date unless extended, rescinded, superseded, or amended in writing.

Please see attached documents for further information and additional resources for clarification specific to Guidance for Salons, Spas, and Sole Practitioners of Personal Services and Guidance for Massage Therapists. This guidance is current as of the date of this update.

Note: it is important, however, to know and understand your local/county approved variances; we have included them for your reference as well.

Additional resource links include PPE solutions, best practices, guidance on what to do in the case of an outbreak in the workplace, and social distancing calculator for both indoor and outdoor facilities.

And finally, we are providing a link with guidance on masks as we know that wearing a non-medical face mask helps minimize the spread of the virus. Everyone living in and visiting the state of Colorado must wear a mask when out in public and while working; and all establishments are requiring the wearing of masks to safely enter in accordance to our statewide mandate.
